Description

Customisable PVC Curtains for Warehouses and Industrial Applications

Choosing the right curtain setup for your industrial or warehouse space depends on a range of practical factors — from access requirements to environmental control. At VECTUS, our curtain system offers flexible configurations to suit both internal and external applications.

Retractable vs Fixed Curtains

  • Retractable curtains offer maximum versatility. They can be drawn back when not in use, providing unrestricted access and allowing dynamic reconfiguration of a space.
  • Fixed curtains remain in place permanently and are ideal for areas requiring consistent containment or protection from dust, noise, or temperature changes.

Single Run vs Bi-Parting Systems

  • A single run system involves one continuous curtain that slides open to one side. This is a space-efficient solution where access is only needed from one direction.
  • A bi-parting system features two curtain sections that open from the centre outwards, providing a symmetrical, wider access point — often preferred for large openings or central walkways.

Suspended and Track-Mounted Options

Warehouse curtains can be suspended from above or mounted to walls or structural frames using high-quality stainless steel tracks. This allows installation in complex environments, including areas with limited floor space or uneven surfaces.

External vs Internal Usage Considerations

  • Internal warehouse curtains are typically used to divide departments, create clean zones, or control temperature and airflow between different areas.
  • External curtain systems must withstand weather conditions such as wind and rain. For these applications, we offer reinforced designs with added features like wind load straps to ensure stability and durability.

Optional Add-Ons for Enhanced Performance

To tailor your curtain system further, we offer a range of accessories:

  • Vision Panels – Allow visibility and light transfer between spaces without compromising separation.
  • Pelmets – Installed above the curtain to close gaps and enhance containment, particularly useful for dust or temperature control.
  • Wind Load Straps – Strengthen external installations against strong winds or pressure differences, improving performance and longevity.
